Last night while the kids were making up their letter to Santa, I decided to get into the game myself. No, I didn’t ask Santa for any equestrian apparel or anything like that, but there were a few items on my list that I would really like to have. I asked Santa for a DS game system, some games for it, a hair straightener and some new clothes. Yes, I realize that letters to Santa should be for little kids, but trust me when I say this, if I don’t make out a list, I won’t get anything close to what I want. So…. I handed my list to my husband and he assured me that he would make sure Santa gets it. LOL

Today my son’s class will be going on their second skating trip of the year. And… I want to go stand in a rink for an hour like I want a second hole in my head. For the past three days I have had a wicked bad headache and I just don’t think standing in a cold rink is going to do it any good. But, the little guy wants me to go, so off I will go. Before I head to the rink I plan on stopping at my favorite coffee shop and buying an extra large coffee. Hopefully this will help. And when I get home I plan on staying off the computer and going to lay down for a while.
So have a great day and if I don’t freeze to death or my head don’t fall off, I’ll talk to you all soon.

After months and months of searching, I finally found that perfect car! And guess what?? I bought it! That’s right, I am now driving a brand (new to me) car. The car I purchased is a 2001 Neon and I absolutely love it!! I bought it on Friday and have been driving it every day since. I am so in love with it, that I’m even contemplating taking it on some new orleans travel adventures. No, not really but you get the drift of how much I love my car right?? Now all I have to do is sell the old one and I will be one happy traveller.

So you may not all be aware of this, but this year my daughter has decided not to play the violin. It’s kind of a shame that she chose not to, but as it was her decision I do respect that and let her make her own choices. Well now she has joined the percussion club. When she informed me of this particular decision, I was not real impressed. I had visions of her sitting in her room banging on a stainless steel drums set and let me tell you all, I was not looking forward to that. But fortunately any and all practices are done at school. So this particular club now has my seal of approval. LOL

A couple of weeks ago the steering rack in my car went. Because of the type of job it is, my husband is unable to do the work in our yard so I am going to have to take this car to a mechanic. I really wouldn’t care about shelling out the extra cash except in two months my car is due for inspection and there is no way it is going to pass. So, I’ll either have to poke a whole lot of cash into it or I will have to purchase a new car. Either way, I don’t think I’ll be taking an Outer Banks vacation any time soon.
If I end up purchasing a new car in the next couple of months I really don’t want to put any more money into this car. Oh well, I don’t think I’m going to find a new car within the next two days so I think I will have to pay out this extra money. Well, that just sucks!

Well I’ve finally made my decision. I am buying a new computer or lap top the first of next year. I can’t purchase one right now as I need all my money for Christmas. But once the Christmas shopping is all done, I will then begin to save my pennies for a new computer. The one I currently use is so slow, jams up a lot and the SD card really is crap. So I need (or want) a new computer. It will probably take me a little while to save up enough cash to purchase the one I want, but in the end I WILL have a new computer!

Although my youngest son is only nine, he is obsessed with motor bikes. He has bike pictures all over his walls and his dream in life is to become a professional bike driver. If he continues on with this obsession throughout his teenage years and his adult years I can honestly see his dream come true. His father bought him a mini chopper and you just can’t get the child off this bike. It’s so bad that when my husband goes out with him to supervise him riding it, he only puts a small amount of gas in it and when the gas runs out he is done riding the bike for the day. If he could he would stay on it all day. But, if that’s the worst thing he is up to these days, then I guess I can put up with it.

After all the trouble I had with blog over the past couple of months, I decided that it’s high time I learn a little more about computers and blogging in general. So I have decided to teach myself. I have been doing a lot of reading and researching and have been learning quite a bit. Just the other day I learned all about a Corporate flash drive and what it is used for. So that’s a good thing right?! Now today I plan on learning how to change the settings and permissions on all my blogs. Seriously even after three years I still don’t know how to do this. But, I am determined. So I guess we will see how it goes.

I just got back from the drug store. And let me tell you all, I’m a whole lot poorer. Both the kids came down with that nasty flue this weekend and we ran out of everything. So I had to go to the store today to restock my supplies. I honestly can’t believe how much money it cost just to get and stay healthy. Thank god I didn’t have to purchase any best acne treatments or anything like that, or I would have broke the bank. Hopefully this stuff works and gets the kids back up and running like they should be.
