Trying to Gain Weight
Jan 6th, 2008 by Kim
I know that I have said before that I’m not a for provillus to
person to make new year's resolutions. I have found that in the past that whenever I make one, I never usually follow through with them so this is why I don't make them any more. But this year I have decided to make an exception to this rule and I have decided to make one. My new year's resolution for this year is to gain some weight. I know this sounds a little foolish, but if you knew me personally you would know that this particular problem has been a major issue for me for years.
I am five foot one and currently weigh 89 lbs. No, I do not do this on purpose, I just can't seem to put on any weight. And, when I do manage to creep up there in weight, it seems like in no time at all, I'm back down to less than 90 lbs. For my height I have been told that my ideal weight should be around 110 lbs. I've never seen that number in my life time except when I was pregnant so that doesn't count.
So, this year I vow to eat more and try to put on the weight that I so desperately need! Hopefully by the end of 2008 I will be able to report that I succeeded in gaining this weight and keeping it on!
I remember those days well. The only time I was over 100 pounds was when I was pregnant like you. If you’re not eating well, then there’s something to work on. But if your body is naturally thin I really don’t think there’s much you can do. Thin is in now, isn’t it?
When I was young and thin (many moons ago) thin was not in & I had to buy clothes in the children’s department or some fancy boutiques that cost an arm and a leg.
Here’s wishing you the best!
