Getting back on track

Ever since Christmas ended and the kids back in school, I just can’t seem to get it together. For some reason I can’t seem to get motivated back into the game of blogging and crafting. I know I should as every day that I put off these activities, I am potentially losing money. I don’t know if this is because for almost a month I wasn’t able to do these things so I kind of got out of the habit, or if it’s because financially things aren’t going quite as well as they were before Christmas so I’m getting a little discouraged.
Whatever the reason is, I need to get out of my funk and get back to business. So, when you get in this type of situation what works well for you to help you regain your motivation level? I would love to hear from you all on this matter.

hi kim! thanks for advertising through my blog
anyway, i can relate to your not-in-the-mood mood. hehe. what i do is, i just let it pass. even if it takes more than a month. for me it’s been monthS since i last wrote a good short story. it’s the reason why i put up a blog years ago. sometimes i just want to bump my head into the wall just so i can get inspiration
but when i’m in a less destructive state, i read lots and hopefully it takes off from there. i particularly like Neil Gaiman.
My method. Sit and watch a clock. Not a digital one. Watch the second hand move with each passing second, and realize that each one is a moment of your life lost, a moment you will never get back.
