Life with Kim

My husband’s father and I have a wonderful relationship.  He is always teasing me and I give it right back to him.  I honestly love him as much as I would my own dad.  And since my own father passed away three years ago, my father in law and I have gotten a lot closer.  One of the jokes that we have between us, is that he teases me about my husband finding a better wife.  I know he is just kidding around and the stuff he says honestly doesn’t bother me one little bit.

Yesterday, I got him good.  He went to a flea market and picked up seven cases of beads for me.  Yesterday he gave them to me.  So I started teasing him telling him that I know he really does love me or he wouldn’t have spent his $5.00 on me.  He then informed me that I’m his favorite daughter in law.  The thing is, I’m his only daughter in law.  So, even though he did a great thing for me, he still got his digs in!
