Life with Kim

My youngest son has got to be the nicest little boy on the face of this planet.  Yesterday he did something that touched me so much that I really had to share with you all.

When supper time rolled around, I asked my husband what he wanted for supper.  He told me he didn’t want anything as him and the kids were going to go out for supper.  He told me (joking of course) that I could only go if both kids said I could join them.  When I asked my daughter if I could go, of course she said no (once again, joking).  When I asked my son he said yes.  When my husband told him that both kids had to say yes asked his sister if I could please go and again she said no.  So, he jumped up on the couch beside me and informed the both of them that “If she can’t go, I’m not going”.  And, he was serious.

I found this to be so cute as he is getting older and it won’t be much longer before he will be too old to be my “little man”.  So gestures like this make me smile and cry a little.  The good news is, is that we all went out to supper and had a wonderful time.  But, for his generosity, he got an extra kiss at bedtime!
