They need their eyes tested

Yesterday I went to the hairdressers and got my hair cut. This is a major thing for me as it had been over two years since I had been to the hairdressers. So when I went in and she asked me how much I wanted cut off, I told her a lot (this way I don’t have to go back for a couple more years. lol). So, she did. She cut my hair really really short.
You would think that my children would notice this. But, nope! Both of them when they got off the bus didn’t even mention my lack of hair. So I finally asked them both if they noticed if there was anything different about me. Finally after much thought they both said, “yeah, your hair is different”. They still didn’t notice that it was cut. There is a big difference in the length of my hair, so this is why I think both of them need to get their eyes tested.

Have you been packing your hair? If you have, that may be the reason why they did not notice it. Or maybe, the little guys came in hungry, so even though they saw it, they did not observe the change. Bear with them
Thanks for sharing the experience anyway.
Kids never notice that stuff, do they. I once colored my hair and my kids didn’t notice. I’ve often thought of just having someone else drive my vehicle to the pick up circle at school and see if they notice someone else is driving them home!
I tell ya, this must be an epidemic going around. I got about 8 inches cut off in December, one of my other friends just had hers cut about 2 weeks ago and it was about 14 inches and now you lol. Of course ours are still at least shoulder blade length but that’s a lot of hair.
