I got the hint!

For the past few days my daughter has been at me quite a bit about quitting smoking. Now before you guys jump all over me, I KNOW I should quit, I KNOW it’s bad for me, and I KNOW I should quit. But being a smoker for over 20 years, it is a bit of a difficult task. But, I will quit eventually.
So, on to the real post.
As I said, she has been at me for three or four days now about quitting smoking and I have been telling her that I will think about it. Every morning she has asked if I thought about it and my answer is always “still thinking”. This morning was no different. After she asked me about it and I replied, she then proceeded to show me that she broke my cigarette roller “by accident”. Yeah, right. But, I didn’t get mad and even asked her a couple of times if she did it on purpose. She keeps saying no, but I’m thinking that this may have been my biggest hint yet.
And, just in case I forgot to mention it, “YES, I KNOW I SHOULD QUIT”.

I’ve quit smoking almost 2 years now, no, i think 3. How? I just keep on thinking about my future and the amount of money I can save dodging cigarettes
Ah, don’t you just love subtle hints? lol.
Kim…Luckily I only smoked years ago in college and my new boyfriend at the time told someone he would never date a girl who smoked. Well, those cigarettes went right to the trash. Then many years after that and several boyfriends later, I smoked again but I only had one. That was the last time I ever had one. Thank goodness. From what I hear, it is very hard to quite and you have to do it only when “you” are ready.
Good Luck!
I really love this template here. Also my little girl stay on my case everyday about smoking. I have to explain to her that smoking keeps me from putting knots on a lot of peoples head. I have tried but the will to quit is just not there.
