Life with Kim

Honestly one of my favorite foods in life would have to be Gulf oysters. I totally gross my husband out when I eat them, but because he loves me he usually puts up with my eating habits. So the other night while I was eating some oysters and seen him make a face, I asked him a question. My question to him was how would he react if instead of the possible pearl that you can find in an oyster, you find money instead. He then stated that watching me eat oysters would then be worth it.

Speaking of oysters and my love of them, I recently discovered a site over at http://beoysteraware.com that I found to be an extremely interesting read. This site discusses everything and anything to do with oysters as well as giving away free delicious recipes. Normally I just pan fry them and eat them with butter, but after visiting this site, I am going to try some of these yummy looking recipes. They also discuss very important issues regarding eating raw or uncooked oysters.

I know that the chances of finding an oyster with a pearl in it is very slim, but it’s still fun to think about. But, I still think it would be a neater idea if oysters spit out loads and loads of money. More money to buy…more oysters.
