Life with Kim

This time of year always brings back fond memories.  Yesterday was the first day of fishing season and this was one of the days that my dad used to look forward to every year.  He always said that the first day of fishing season and the first day of hunting season should be declared a national holiday.  When he passed away, my brother’s kindly gave me his and my mom’s fishing poles to save for the kids.

My dad would be so proud and happy.  Both of his youngest two grandchildren have caught his fishing bug.  They both love to go fishing and it really doesn’t bother them if they don’t catch anything.  They each use my parents fishing poles and always have a great time on their outings.  So I made sure that my husband got his licence yesterday (I’m not a fisherman, I only go for the outing) and hopefully some time this weekend we will be able to find some extra time to get in a little fishing.
