First off, you've made tears spring to my eyes. One, because I instantly though of last year went I went home for a visit and my ten year old niece who has SO MUCH HAIR had gotten a bang cut and she looked too adult for me! makes me feel old. Second, because I so adore that your daughter even has the heart to do such a thing. I admire her greatly. It's hair, it will grow back. But she is going to do something for the self esteem for some child that is having such a hard time..Sigh. Sorry for the mini blog. That's so awesome! My daughter has never had her hair cut either and she's 12. I trim the ends and she grew out her bangs. She wants to get the front tapered before she starts junior high in the fall, that a huge step. I've tried to get her to do Locks of Love, but she's just not ready. My dad died of leukemia 9 years ago and my mom was diagnosed with lymphoma over Christmas. I've been trying to talk her into taking her hair and donating it before she loses it to the chemo. Anyways, it's good to hear that there are decent little kids out there who are concerned about more then just themselves! Wow, that’s pretty awesome.
