Advertising my business with postcards

For almost a year now I have been trying to promote my home crafting business. I have had very little success in all my promotional efforts, but I think I have it figured out to where I have gone wrong. I really believe that I have been utilizing the wrong advertising methods. All I have been really doing is relying on word of mouth advertising and this definitely isn’t getting me anywhere. So I have decided to try something new. I have decided to order some postcards to give out to potential customers.
I plan on ordering these postcards from vistaprint. I have only heard good things about this company. Not only do they print out postcards, but you can get a wide range of advertising products through them. You can order business cards, magnets and even rubber stamps and labels. They will either let you design your own logo, or they will customize your order for you. Their prices are highly competitive and the quality of their products are among the best.
So to try to increase my sales, which will increase my profits, I’m going to place my order with vistaprint.

I’m having the same problem. Maybe I should order the postcards too. Of course, then I have to figure out who to mail them to! We need to put our heads together and devise a plan. Are you doing Etsy?
I am a VistaPrint junkie.. I own so many business cards and postcards and notes from them, its out of this world.
Out of maybe 100 orders with them, I have only had problems about 5 times. They have always replaced the order without asking any questions. Once though we had a serious issue with a pretty expensive order and the CS we spoke to refused to replace it OR refund it.
I don’t think you will be disappointed though

Good ideas! The magnets really work well b/c no one throws those away. Doesn’t matter what it’s for.. it goes up on the fridge!
Good luck with the postcards, hope they help!
You will be happy with Vista print, for sure. Good company.
I’ve got to ask, however — have you taken a look at some of the smaller, local firms in your town. A lot of those print shops are taking a beating right now and they’re offering some deals.
Good luck!
As long as it has nothing to do with Microsoft !
I’ve used vistaprint a few times for biz cards, postcards and such. They are *always* having free stuff….get on their mailing list and I swear everyday you get an email for free something!
