Grown Close to Home

There are many reasons why Loblaw’s is my favorite place to grocery shop. But one of the main reasons has to be be because of the freshness and the quality of their produce. Especially the produce that they are now featuring.
When you first walk into the store, the very first thing you will notice is their display of mostly Canadian grown produce. This new feature is being advertised as their Field Fresh Best Value. In essence what this means is that all the produce that is being offered for sale is fresh and most is grown right here in Canada.
So if supplying your family with the freshest vegetables possible is a real concern of yours, then why not check out Loblaws and see what they have to offer. Most of their produce is Canadian grown so not only will your family be getting the best and freshest possible produce, but you will also be supporting Canadian growers as well.
I have had a wonderful organic garden all summer. It has been a joy to care for it and a real treat to have the variety of fresh veggies it has produced. I think that if you cannot grow your own veggies, the next best thing is to buy locally; this supports the local economy and the local farmers! Great post!
