First week of school was a success!

The first week of school is done and over with now. And both kids had a super week!
Daniel is now in grade 3 and is madly in love with his teacher. Because he likes his teacher so much I am pretty sure that I will see his grades improve from last year. When he likes a teacher he will try harder, but when he doesn’t he doesn’t give it his everything. He has a couple of his best friends in his class so he is excited to go to school every day.
Kara is now in grade 5 and is in her final year of elementary school. She has already gotten enrolled in several activities and can’t wait to get going. Kara normally likes all her teachers, and this year is no different. She will be doing something a little different this year and is quite excited about this. The first half of the year she will be taking all English classes and the second part of the year she will be taking all French classes. She is always up for a challenge so I have no doubt that she will excel in both areas of study.
So if this past week is any indication of the year to come, I think both kids are going to have a pretty great year.
