School picture day

Today is one of my most favorite days of the school year. Yes, that would be school picture day. Don’t ask my why it’s one of my favorite days, it just is. I love to see the kids get dressed up kind of nice and put on their best efforts to get me a great school picture. So far they haven’t let me down.
But, this year may be a little different. My children headed out the door this morning with winds blowing freely and fiercely. And with any parent that has a girl with long hair, you know where I’m going with this. Yes my daughter hair is down to her backside and all she wanted in it was a hairband. So with the wind this morning, her hair was flowing in the wind. Now that’s either going to create an awesome wind blown look picture or a messy windy hair look. lol They get there proofs back today as well so I guess I will have to see then whether she is going to be a good candidate for re-takes. My son on the other hand will do fine. He has a brush cut. lol
Brush cuts are great–so easy!
I was so thankful that my daughter had her pictures done during 1st hour at school a couple of weeks ago. I was afraid it was going to be after gym!
