I think I broke my car?!

Why don’t I know if I broke my car you ask? Well because it’s pouring rain out right now and I can’t check underneath it right now. Ok now that I have your attention I’ll try to explain to you all what happened this morning.
Because it was raining out this morning I drove the kids to the spot where the bus stops instead of stopping at the area where I normally do and letting them walk. Well when I got up to the bus stop I had to drive around another car and some rocks to get to a parking spot. Well apparently I missed seeing a rock and drove right over it. Well you should have heard all the banging and clunking. Oh yeah, and I spilled my coffee all over me too!
Well because it was raining so hard I didn’t want to get out and check it out. So after I dropped the kids off I just drove home and parked it. And that’s where I’m at right now. I did call my husband and tell him so I do expect a little visit from him later this morning. Then he can get out in the rain and underneath my car to see if I did any damage.
That’s not really fair to him now is it? I was the one who broke it (maybe) and he is the one who is going to check it out. Well he shouldn’t be a mechanic and married to me now should he??
Since he’s a mechanic it only makes sense that he’s the one to keep the car going, right? After all, I’m sure you have your roles to. Hopefully though, your car is fine. I don’t see how riding over a rock would hurt it any, unless it was a BIG rock.
