Patiently waiting

On Thursday we got one of the worst rain storms that we have gotten in our area in a very long time. And this massive rain storm did play a little havoc on our home. It was during this storm that we discovered that we had a leak in my son’s bedroom. The leak was so bad that it actually bowed his ceiling. So my husband needed to go onto the roof to fix the problem and now we have to replace my son’s ceiling. When my husband told my son how he was going to fix the ceiling he got really excited. I guess he wants to help. lol But after three days the work hasn’t been getting done yet. He is starting to get anxious, but is still trying to wait patiently for his father to find the time to fix it. It will happen soon but my little guy just needs to exercise a bit more patience.
Oh no! There is never a good time to find out your roof needs to be fixed.
Yew, a leaking roof sounds like a big problem. I’d be calling a roofer right away if it were me. Hope your husband can get to it soon! Are you going to let your son climb up on the roof? I’m sure he’d love it but it sounds dangerous to me.
It’s good to have brave men who are able to fix things, but yet it’s hard to tell when to let the boys start learning those kinds of things.
