Being careful on the Internet

Yesterday while I was waiting in line at the bank I started looking at their billboard just to pass the time of day. Well I was quite surprised to see an e-mail posted on the billboard about a scam that is currently going around on the Internet. Apparently this scam artists are targeting the elderly with promises of big money coming their way as long as they give out a lot of personal information. Now lots of money sounds great to anyone but it is especially misleading to seniors as they live on a fixed income and have limited income. What’s next? A orovo detox scam? Honestly, you really can’t be too careful when your dealing with people on the Internet and you have to be completely careful if they are asking anything from you. I really do hope that other banks are doing the same thing and warning their own customers about this latest scam taking place.
