Handing out the hints
Nov 8th, 2008 by Kim
It is around this time of year that I give my husband tons of hints as to what I would like for him to purchase me for Christmas. Normally he hasn’t got a clue as to what I want or need so handing out hints is the only way that I will get something that I really need or want. So I’ve started handing out the hints already. Last night I sent him an e-mail with pictures of Festina watches. This would be my hint that I need a new watch as my old one has been broken for quite some time now. I have also been laying some major hints towards a new bead and jewelry supply store that has just opened up. I know for a fact that they have gift certificates so I have passed this information on to my husband as well. Hopefully he kicks in to all the hints I have been giving him. This is the only way I can think of to get the stuff I want without actually going out and making the purchases myself.
It could be seen that providing hints in this way is a more enjoyable way to obtain items as it is a surprise as to whether the items will come about. It is a bit more interesting than purchasing an item due to the level of probability involved. It can also be enjoyable to see what kinds of hints are picked up, and also to see which ones don’t register at all.
