Illness update
Nov 15th, 2008 by Kim
As you can all see, I haven’t been in here blogging for a few days. And…now I’m going to tell you all why!
Well the entire family has been sick and it seems like one gets better and then someone else gets sick next. Here’s how this past week has gone. First my young son got sick (he had a chest infection and the croup), then my daughter got sick (stomach flue). Then it was time for the parents to have it. On Monday I came down sick with a cold and then on Wednesday my husband walked in from work very sick as well. So as you can tell, we have all had a turn at it. Is this where my story ends?? Nope! Here we go again.
Yesterday I got a phone call from my daughter’s school and had to go get her. I took her to the doctor and she has a strep infection and an ear infection. Then when my son gets off the bus he informs me that he threw up at school and when we got home he proceeds to throw up for the remainder of the afternoon.
So..now you know where I’ve been. They both have medicine so hopefully they are on the road to recovery. As for my husband and I, we are just suffering through it, just waiting for the day that our family and home are well over their sicknesses.
Well, for goodness sakes! You all get better k? Hugs.
Hope you get well soon. Viruses spread fast in family, I remember when I got chicken pox, my sis got it 2 weeks later.
Take care ok
Oh no! That’s miserable, I hope everyone is feeling better soon. ((((Hugs for the whole family))))
Oh dear. I can empathize…I’ve been sick for the past week too. I hope you all get well soon!!!
That’s awful when the family gets sick. I feel sorry for you. I hate being sick–even if it’s just a cold which I did just finally get over. Sad for your sick kids, nothing worse that the vomiting. Hope things are on the upswing for you and everyone is feeling better by now.
I tagged you for a bookworm meme at http://karenzemek.blogspot.com/2008/11/bookworm-meme-ive-been-tagged.html Hope you don’t mind. No rush, you can certainly wait until everyone is back to normal.
I hope you all get better soon.
