I’m headed back to the dining room!!

Well if you’ve been a regular reader of this blog, then you know all about my troubles and my unhappiness at work. I received a lot of kind comments and useful advice from all of you and for this, I say thank you.
Well things kind of came to a head a couple of weeks ago and I realized that I had to do something to make a change. With the way things were going I knew there was no way that I was ever going to last until June working in the kitchen. So I talked to my manager and explained the situation and my feelings. So because she doesn’t want to lose me she agreed to get me out and the kitchen and give me some dining room shifts.
So in a weeks time, I will be working where I want to be working. As a waitress!! I have told a few customers about this change and they all are really happy to see me working where I should be. So…only one week to go and I will be one happy employee.
Oh yeah, this means I won’t be leaving in June.

I’m sure you are going to be a very good waitress and make lots of money. Let us know how things workout. I was once a waitress but I couldn’t handle working at night even though the tips really did add up.
