A little while ago I was tagged by Karen from My Funny Dad to do a bookworm meme. Sorry it took me so long to get it up, but you know the troubles I have been having. But I’m here now so that counts for something right?! lol

So….here we go.

1. Grab the nearest book.
2. Open the book to page 56.
3. Find the fifth sentence.
4. Post the text of the next two to five sentences.
5. Don’t dig for your favorite book, the cool book or the intellectual one. Pick the Closest.

Since I’m an avid reader, I have a lot of books on hand. But this book “The Marriage Prize” by Virginia Henley was the closest one I had on hand.

Granted, he was the ideal knight, one any maiden would sigh over, but how ridiculous she had been to form more than a passing infatuation for the handsome Irish warrior.
