Lots of snow
Dec 8th, 2008 by Kim
Well we finally got a snowstorm last night. This time I think the snow is going to stay. The kids were pretty excited to see the snow as it means making snow forts and snowmen. But my husband wasn’t’ real impressed as it meant that he had to go out first thing this morning to shovel the driveway and clear all the cars. He didn’t say too much about the snow fall but I know he was really wishing he was anywhere but here at this time. I think a trip to Westgate would have made him really happy this morning. As for myself, I just love the FIRST snowfall. After that, we really don’t need to get anymore. lol I guess I don’t mind the snow as bad as my husband as it’s not me who has to dig out the shovel. So hopefully for his sake, we don’t get much more of the white stuff.
Buy him a snow blower for Chirstmas…he’ll love you for it and his aching back will thank you for it too!
i loved the snow when lived in Maine also. That is until my husband started driving long haul and I had to shovel.
We moved down here to the south the next year.:-)
I can’t even imagine what it would be like to have snow here in Dallas. Instead we are in for a stormy night tonight. One day it’s extremely cold (which I like), then the next day it’s 78F. When I read your blogs about your snowfall I just imagine it snowing around here. And that’s about the extent of it – imagination.
I never see and touch snow in my life
