It’s great to be a waitress again!

Well I thought I would give you all an update on the latest that has been happening at my work. As you all know, I recently went back to my former place of employment. I was employed as the kitchen supervisor and absolutely hated it! So after having a heart to heart talk with my manager we decided that I would go back out front as a waitress during the weekends on the day shift. Well after working four shifts out front, I have to tell you all that I’m just loving it!!! It’s so great to be back out front with all my former customers. And they are are all pleased that I’m back as well. I don’t know how many hugs I have gotten from customers that are happy to see me back. And business has improved since the word has gotten out that I’m back. Now I’m not bragging, but I am really good at what I do. I’m a people person, not a cook and that is why I was so miserable in the kitchen. Now that I’m back out front and working pretty good hours, I’ll probably be there forever.
So for right now, I’m one happy waitress!!
That’s great news! It does feel good when you actually enjoy your job. I’m so glad it’s all working out for you!
Waitressing is an art and having someone who enjoys doing it means that the meal served is a pleasant one. It sounds like you’re the kind of waitress I enjoy having and one that gets a good tip from Ken and I. I’m glad you’re back doing what you love.

Where have you been???? You haven’t been posting lately and I was getting concerned about you. Anyway…isn’t it wonderful when you have a job you like??? I’m telling you….it makes all the difference in the world when you feel you are accomplishing something, you enjoy doing it and others “really appreciate” what you do.
