Winter wonderland

We were supposed to get a pile of snow last night. But when the kids got up this morning and got ready for school it was overcast but not a snowflake in sight. So we sent them off to school and got ready for a quite and relaxing day. Well the snow started flying around 9:30 and guess what?? They canceled school! They sent the kids home by bus at 11:30 am. So much for my quiet and relaxing day.
Well after dinner I made the kids get dressed and we went outside to shovel all this beautiful snow. It sure beats taking Leptovox to keep any weight off now doesn’t it?? Well they didn’t do a whole lot of shoveling, but it did get them out of the house and give them something to do. Hopefully this snowfall will stop by morning and they will be able to return to school. If not, I’m in for a long day again tomorrow.
