Worst February in recent history
Feb 24th, 2009 by Kim
This morning I was listening to my favorite radio station and the radio announcer announced that this has been the worst February in recent history as far as snowstorms go. Now in recent years we have had a pile of snow fall on us, but these years have nothing on this year. What prompted this announcement was the fact that we got hit with another snowstorm yesterday. And this storm was probably the worst one we have had this year.
In our area we received 37 cm of snow and in a town not too far away from us, they got over 55 cm of snow. Now that’s a lot! But if you add on what we already got in snowfalls this month, you can just imagine what my front yard looks like. But the end of the month is Saturday so hopefully this is all the snow we will get for this month. March usually isn’t quite so bad, so I’m just sitting here anxiously waiting for March to arrive.
Hmmmm…..I only had a taste of snow when i went up north two years ago. Here in Arizona, we would be thilled to have that much ice even for a while. Any chance you could spare us? Let me know =)
I love blogging about life, thanks for sharing your life blog!
I believe it. The snow just keeps coming and coming but I felt much better when I realized others got it much worse. Take a look at the photos on Red Pine Mountain taken by Mountain Woman and you will probably feel better too:

Karen Zemek sent me here after looking at my snowy pictures. I’m not good at centimeters but we got 22″ the other day on top of what we had. I can’t wait for the spring thaw.
