New computer

Both of my children share my old laptop. They actually do pretty good sharing, but their machine is almost cooked. So we have to buy them a new computer. We have been trying to decide whether to buy another laptop or to buy a desk top. If we buy a new desk top, I will take it for my office and give them my laptop. But, if we end up purchasing a new laptop, then we will give this unit to the kids.
The only reason why we are even considering purchasing a desk top is because we would be able to get two hard drives in one unit. And, with the amount of work that I do on the computer, this type of set up would be perfect for me. So once we finally make up our minds, the kids will end up getting a new computer of some sort.
Repetitive strain is a creeping threat for any 21st century computer user. Steady mouse clicking may seem innocent, but many computer users find that pain starts in their arm and eventually spreads to their wrist and shoulder.
In the days of the good old typewriter, people suffered from so-called writer’s cramp. Although the phrase has since been shelved, the problem still applies to anyone who spends hours at a desk.
