Employment update

So as you all know, my job has been kind of up in the air for awhile. My husband was informed back in January that his shifts could possibly be changing and we have been sitting on pins and needles waiting for the official word. The reason why this affects me and my job is because right now he watches the kids on the weekends while I am at work and if his shifts change he will not be able to do this.
Well last week we got the official word that his shifts are in fact changing and this now means that I’m out of a job (possibly). My boss and I were discussing these new arrangements and because she doesn’t want to see me go, she has offered to give me some work a couple of days during the week. So last night my husband and I discussed this and we decided that I will try to work the two days a week just to see if it will work.
I really hope this arrangement does work out as I really do love my job and would hate to have to completely leave the company. But only time will tell if this is a workable solution. And of course, I’ll keep you all informed.
