Scary situation

As many of you know, I work as a waitress at a busy family restaurant. But what you may not know, is that it is hooked onto a bar. Well, on Monday morning, this bar got robbed and the guy who did it took the bartender as a hostage. Pretty scary crap! He could have just as easily walked into our restaurant and took the waitress hostage! Now that scares the crap out of me. Thankfully he dropped her off on the side of the road and physically she’s Okay. But I don’t know if she will ever recover from this particular incident.
Yes, I hear about robbing all the time, but this particular robbery was quite brutal and I know the girl so it makes it even worse. Thankfully they caught the guy and he will be in jail for quite some time to come. But, it still scared the crap out of me and now I don’t even know if I want to work there anymore just in case it happens again.
Wow, very scary indeed! Glad they caught that guy and the bartender is okay. Don’t think I’d keep working there though if it were me. How does your family feel about it? I know my husband would tell me to quit that job real fast!

He is leaving the decision up to me. I haven’t decided yet what I’m going to do. But honestly this is all I can think about. Hopefully I’ll make up my mind soon.
