Letting go

The children are growing up and I’m having a real hard time letting go. This morning, for the first time ever I did not drive them to the bus stop. I had my daughter (who is two years older than my son) walk my son to his bus stop and then she walked to her bus stop all by herself. Well, neither one of them came back home, so I’m assuming they both got on the bus. My husband keeps telling me that I have to let go and give the kids a little bit of freedom. So that is why I decided to let them walk this morning by themselves. I don’t like it one little bit, hehe, but, the time has come.
