Pitfalls of no babysitter

I felt really bad for my youngest son last night. He wasn’t feeling good, but I had to take him to work with me anyway. Right now I don’t have a babysitter so I take the kids to work with me and when my husband gets off work, he stops in and picks them up. Normally this works out really well. But when one of the kids are sick I feel guilty because I have to take them out and make them go into the restaurant.
I can’t wait until the day my daughter turns 12. Then I will be able to go to work and leave them home as she legally will be able to watch him. It’s either that or I look into IT Jobs which would get me off the evening shifts and into working during the day when their in school. Oh well, he buckled under and didn’t complain too badly and his father was actually on time for once.
