What a long week!

Although it’s only Wednesday, I am totally exhausted. I swear all this holiday stuff is more work than getting ready for weddings in barbados. I’m certainly starting to think that it costs so much. Yeah I know it’s the holidays and I should be celebrating and not complaining, but I will really be happy when this season is all over. Then I might get my house back, start to save money once again and life can get back to normal. I do really love the holiday season but you can’t imagine the happy feeling I get when it’s finally all over.

Running out of time

Holy smokes I can’t believe that Christmas is only four days away! I thought I was finished getting ready but yesterday my husband decided to go out and purchase more gifts so that means that I have more wrapping to do. Every time I think I’m getting close he goes and does something like this, ha, ha. Oh well, I think once again we overspent on the children but let me tell you all that they are really going to have a great Christmas. So today I get to finish (once again) getting ready for Christmas. I do love this time of year, but I will sure be glad when it’s finally over!

On vacation

So here we all are on another week’s vacation. We had planned on taking the kids camping this week but it doesn’t look like that is going to happen. The weather has been pretty crappy lately and sitting in a camper trailer in the rain is not my idea of fun. Oh well, we have been doing quite a bit of stuff with the children and they seem to be having fun. But I guess the good news in all this is that since it’s been so not nice outside, we haven’t had to dig out our echo trimmers and do yard work either. Well, we do have five more days of vacation to go so hopefully the end of the week will produce nicer weather and we will all be able to enjoy a little camping time as well.
