Working on my home crafting business

For the past week now I have been steadily working on my home crafting business. I have finished up a lot of projects that have been in the works for months and I have also taken quite a few pictures of the products that I will eventually have for sale. So my next move is to set up a website to showcase and promote all my items. Setting up the website is pretty easy and straightforward. But getting the proper search engine optimization so others can find me is going to be a little tricky. I’m not really computer savvy and tend to blunder my way around the computer. But if this venture is going to work I’m going to have to suck it up and learn how to use SEO properly. Wish me luck, I’m going to need it!

This computer has got to go!

Seriously folks you’re probably getting really tired of reading all my posts about my stupid computer. Well let me tell you all, I’m getting really tired of these posts. It took me over an hour this morning just to get online. So after all this frustration, I really don’t feel like working online. I have to do a couple of articles on California car insurance and then shut this stupid thing down. I absolutely cannot continue to work like this. Hopefully I’ll have a better day tomorrow.

Problem solved (I think)

I think my computer problems are over (for now anyway). After weeks of listening to me complaining about this thing, last night my husband bought me a fan for my laptop and I think that might have helped the problem. I can’t believe the difference in my computer today. Now I might be able to get the pond filters articles completed that were due yesterday. Hopefully the problem was with my computer overheating and instead of having to buy a new laptop all I had to do was invest in a fan. I’ll keep you posted!

Major computer problems

I bet you all are happy that you weren’t around my house this weekend. On Saturday my computer was acting up so badly that I was seriously contemplating throwing this thing out the window! My computer shut down on me on three different occasions and I wasn’t able to finish my work on it. Let’s put it this way, there was a lot of swearing going on in my house that day. My husband really wants to purchase a Samsung HDTV but I think we are going to end up purchasing a new computer instead. If I go through another day with this computer like I did on Saturday, this computer will go flying. That I can guarantee!

Crafting website

Yes, I did used to have a crafting website over at “Simply Crafting”, but due to time constraints I was unable to continue to post on the blog regularly so I let this blog go. I have been “trying” to do a bit more crafting lately but am still having a difficult time finding the time to get all this done. When I have the time, I plan on building a brand new website to highlight all my crafting projects. When this is all completed, I will be sure to post all about it and direct you to this site. But…. until I find the time to get going on my crafts once again, I won’t bother teasing you all with a website that doesn’t display much of anything.

Lots of resumes sent out

Well I’m back on the looking for work from home stuff to do once again. Over the past month or so, I thought I had enough contracts with different companies to keep me busy. But over the last couple of days I lost a couple of contracts (one I let go and one the company will be going out of business) so I guess I need to find a couple of more to replace them. Earlier this morning I sent a resume and a writing sample about how to increase lean muscle mass to a couple of sites and now will sit back and wait and see what takes place. I really do hope I get accepted at at least one of these companies. But if not, it’s not the end of the world. But, I will continue to look and apply until I can build up my contract list once again.

The feast continues

Yesterday I did a test for a company to apply for a writer, blogger job. Well… I received an e-mail this morning that I got the job!! Yay!! So I think I now have enough work online to keep me busy and to make up for the income that I will now lose due to me cutting back my hours at my regular job. I’m not really sure what type of topics I will have to write about, but with a little bit of research I’m sure I can write on just about anything from kids to hgh, to working online. So… that’s my good news for today. I got another home job!

Feast or famine

I have to tell you all, that my online work life really gets on my nerves sometimes. Over the past couple of weeks I really haven’t had very much work come my way. Now today is a different story. I have a ton (I have a lot of blogs) of blog posts to do, I have to get started and finish a general transcription job and I have been hired to write five articles on colon cleansing. Now don’t get me wrong, I love all this work (since I cut back on my hours at my regular job), but I just wish it wouldn’t all come in one day. It would be nice if it were spaced out a bit. Oh well, I guess I shouldn’t complain. Maybe next week I won’t have any work.

Parental controls

Last night my nine year old son was surfing the net. I just happened to look over and see he had stumbled onto vigrx plus. Well, that’s not a real good site for him so of course I made him click it off. I really have to start paying more attention to these kids when their on the computer. We won’t even let them have their own facebook accounts. This is how closely we monitor them. But after seeing what I did last night, apparently I’m not monitoring quite close enough. Well that’s going to change starting today!

When it rains, it pours

I’ve got to tell you all that I’m amazed at the way things normally happen. A couple of months ago, my Internet income had dwindled down pretty much. I was kind of getting a little depressed thinking that I’m never going to replace my income and become a stay at home mom once again. Well, I guess I shouldn’t have worried so much. I now have so much work to do on the Internet that I’m now starting to worry if I will be able to get it all done. If you think I’m complaining, I’m really not, just wondering out loud. Oh well, I guess I won’t look a gift horse in the mouth and just be happy that I’ve finally got enough work to keep me busy.
