I haven’t been able to blog on my sites for the past three days. Earlier in the weekend I got an e-mail from my hosting company telling me I had some problems with my main account. So they just automatically deactivated my account which deactivated all my blogs. This I was not happy about. Well since I didn’t understand a thing they put in the e-mail there was no way I could fix this problem myself. So over the past couple of days we have been sending e-mails back and forth and now once again I am back up running. Apparently the problem wasn’t on my end so that’s a good thing. I really hope this never happens again or else I may end up just not blogging anymore. Sometimes I just get too frustrated with things that are beyond my control. But we’re good to go now so I guess for now I’ll keep on blogging.

Finally stopped raining

After three days of down pouring rain, it finally stopped. Right now I’m looking out my kitchen window and the sun is shining. Who knows, maybe I won’t have to invest in an airbrush tan after all. But the bad news is that it’s supposed to rain once again tomorrow and Sunday. I’m not really a big fan of rain and all this rain is kind of depressing. Oh well hopefully soon the sun will come out more than the rain and we can once again enjoy all that spring has to offer.

Wonderful birthday

I have to tell you all that I had a pretty wonderful birthday! The day started out with me receiving presents and cards from my husband and the kids. Then my friend and I went out for lunch. Then my husband brought me supper home from my favorite Chinese restaurant and he even bought me an entire lemon pie for myself. So all in all it was a pretty wonderful day. I also got a lot of well wishes from friends and family on Facebook and a couple of phone calls. With days like that, I kind of don’t mind getting older in life.

Exciting day tomorrow

Tomorrow is my birthday and I have plans. For the first time in 44 years I am going to have sort of a birthday party. I’ve never had one in my life. But that’s a different post for a different day. This event just kind of happened suddenly. My friend and I made plans to go out for dinner tomorrow. We do this every year. When some of the girls from work got wind of it, they all asked if they could come. So I guess now I’m going to have a party. I told them all not to buy me anything, just show up for dinner. But knowing this crew they’ll arrive with pwc batteries or something like that. But I’ll have sort of a party so I am really looking forward to this.

Needing a check up

I think I’m going to have to break down and go see a doctor. I have been seriously tired for the past few weeks and my back has been aching quite a bit. Although I’m not a doctor, I honestly think the problem is stress. I am under a lot of stress at work and things there just seem to be going from bad to worse. I’m at the point now that I think I would even enjoy selling cable ties door to door just to change careers. I have put off this doctor’s visit but I don’t think I can put it off too much longer. I haven’t felt like myself in a very long time and I really don’t like this feeling.

Would love to be able to quit smoking

I have been a smoker for over 30 years. Man… where has the time gone? But every once in a while the thought does go through my head that I should probably quit. I have tried a couple of times in the past but have failed miserably at it. You would think it would be easier for me to quit as my husband doesn’t smoke. Oh, he might enjoy his cigars every once in a while but he’s really not a smoker. But it really isn’t easy. I’m thinking about quitting again. Maybe this time it will take as this time the decision is all mine and not because anyone is pestering me to do this. If in fact I am able to accomplish this, I’ll be sure to let you all know.

Learning new things about music

Last night I was doing some research on the Internet looking to find an amazing grading present for my youngest son. As he is heavily into music these days I have been checking out different musical sites. While I was on my journey I managed to learn a great deal about Izotope Nectar, different types of musical instruments and training videos. Who knew there were so many options to buy some pretty cool items. Since my son is really just a beginner in this field most of the stuff I was looking at was for the more advanced musician so I don’t think I will do that type of purchasing quite yet. But if his interest continues I do now know there are a lot of products and services to help him to advance in his interest.

Almost ready to start sewing

After a couple of months of straight cutting on my quilt fabric I’m almost ready to start sewing. I think I have a couple days left to cut out fabric and then will be able to hear the whine of the sewing machine once again. I really do enjoy making quilts but cutting out fabric is probably the thing that I hate the worst in quilt making. And because I don’t enjoy doing this I tend to put this process off. But now that I can see I’m almost at the end of this boring process, I’m going to plug away at the cutting today and tomorrow so I can finally start on creating the project.

Great day to stay inside

It has been raining steadily for the past three days. And now our weatherman is calling for a major rainfall. This is not really good for doing any chores outside but since I’ve been putting off doing work inside because of the beautiful weather that we were having, this is kind of a good thing for me. So today I’m going to sit on my computer and do some research on Remo products for a possible grading present for my youngest son. He is really into music and mentioned on more than one occasion that he would love to receive this type of musical product. So with the rain falling outside this gives me a great opportunity to stay inside and see what I can find for him.

Back to quilting

Well after a month of looking at my quilt pieces and not doing a thing with them today is the day that I once again pick up the scissors. Right now this particular project is only in the cutting stages so it’s quite boring. So… because I got bored with it, I stopped working on it and played around with my computer a little more than I normally have. But today is the day that I stop looking into ACH Fraud and things like that on the Internet and start quilting once again. If I can only get past the cutting part and get to the sewing part I know this quilting process will take on a life of it’s own. So… I’ll check in with you all later and hopefully can post that I am finally done cutting out the pieces and ready to start putting this thing together.
